Flood continues to hit various regions in East and Central Java, causing several villages to be isolated and adding landslide to the mix, forcing thousands to evacuate.
For days the residents of 7 villages in East Java has had to use boats to perform their daily activities. The overflow of the Bengawan Solo river due to heavy rains have flooded hectares of land and damaged 139 roads
Also in East Java, in Pacet, a house was ruined due to a landslide. Fortunately there were no casualties because the inhabitants were able to escape.
Meanwhile in Brebes, Central Java, as many as 1,500 people had to evacuate to nearby villages because of landslide.
Also in Central Java, in the Cilacap regency, four houses were ruined and access to two roads had to be closed due to a landslide and 50 families evacuated for fear of another landslide.
